Spring Break

I spent my Spring Break mainly with my most precious boy, Rowen! It was a big week for us, developmentally, so I decided to take a couple of days during Spring Break to really take a break from school work and focus on my family.

First, we went up to Maryland to visit my parents and sisters for my mom’s birthday. We also got to visit my best friend and her new baby! Babies playing with babies is the cutest thing in the world.

Rowen turned 4 months old on the 19th (and 18 weeks old on the 24th), and we had his 4 month check up on the 22nd, where he weighed in at 18lbs 9oz! The doctor also gave us a go ahead to start solids, so we started solids for the first time last week. It was exciting and he loved it!

We discovered many of the library story times in the local libraries and visited a bunch. We liked that it was free! On Friday, we went to visit the Easter Bunny at Short Pump Mall and Rowen took a picture with him. He was one of the only babies that didn’t cry and shot a smile within 2 takes. What a pro. Since it takes me a million years to get out of the house with an infant, I decided to go shopping with the intention of buying me something, but only bought Rowen a new hat. Such a stud!

Basically, I had a great Spring Break with my boys and had some much needed relaxing time!
